Kris Jenner is known for being the driving force behind her daughters’ successful careers, but the mom isn’t afraid to tell anyone if she thinks something is a bad move, even when it comes to her partner Corey Gamble.
According to various reports, Corey almost had a chance to star in the hit television show Yellowstone, but Kris eventually ended it. At the premiere of The Kardashians in the fourth season, Kris revealed that Corey had been approached about staying in Yellowstone, but she discouraged him from accepting.
His disapproval came during a family vacation to Cabo, Mexico, which surprised both his daughters and the viewers. Kris, 67, explained that she was mainly worried about Corey, 42, who had a romantic plot on the show that she wouldn’t be comfortable with.
Right, because I told him to say no. ‘Because I thought he had to have a romantic relationship,’ Kris explained to her children.
Khloe responded by asking her mother what she would have done if she had been offered the role and Kevin Costner had played her love interest. It’s a hard yes. Bring the saddle! Kris replied.
It is unclear how big Corey’s role in the hit TV show would be or how much he would earn from the role. Kevin Costner earned $ 1.2 million per episode in 2022 as the main actor of the series, although he recently announced his departure from the show earlier this year, while going through his divorce from Christine Baumgartner.
Corey’s salary probably wouldn’t be anywhere near seven or even six figures. Corey has some acting experience after appearing in 2 minutes of Fame in 2020 and being recognized as a producer for the short film Glitter Ain’t Gold. He has also been a regular cast member of The Kardashians and before that Keeping up with the Kardashians since he started a relationship with Kris Jenner in 2014.
Corey is not the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner family who is thinking about a career in television. It is unclear how much the founder of SKIMS earns on the project, but Kim admitted that he had to take acting lessons for the role. Maybe it was worth it, literally and figuratively.
