Meloni brings migration issue to the 78th UN General Assembly

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in New York (USA) on September 19 to attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly, where she will highlight the migration issue.

On Wednesday, the 20th, the debate in the Security Council for Ukraine is scheduled under the chairmanship of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in his capacity as acting President of the Security Council.

He will then hold a bilateral meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, while his speech to the UN General Assembly is scheduled for 7 a.m.

In his speech on Wednesday evening, which marks the debut of the Italian Prime Minister at this forum, Meloni will talk about the migrant emergency and reaffirm his firm support for Ukraine.
