Lupin
The 3rd season of ‘Lupin’ has just premiered after a two-year wait, and fans are happy to see that the delay was worth it. The French Netflix series follows Assane Diop, a man inspired by the adventures of the fictional thief Ars Elimne Lupin, a character created by the writer Maurice Leblanc in the early 20th century. Assane tries to take revenge on the family who blamed his father for stealing a diamond necklace, which led to his arrest and imprisonment, where he finally hanged himself out of shame. After its premiere, ‘Lupin’ became the most watched non-English series on Netflix at that time and is now in third place on the list.
In season 3, Assane was still on the run after the events at the end of the second season, and after being away from his partner and son for so long, he returns to Paris and tries to get them to leave France to start a new life elsewhere. Of course, things are not going as planned, especially now that the world knows his name. And if you like it, we’ll tell you what we know about season 4 of ‘Lupin’ .
The Fall of the House of Usher
Mike Flanagan’s collaboration with Netflix has led to some notable horror series such as ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ and ‘Midnight Mass’. His latest miniseries is a dark, modern Moderna version of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’, which is also inspired by other Poe works.
The series is presented as a supernatural horror version of ‘Succession’, as it deals with the Moderna American dynasty of the Usher family. Led by twin brothers Roderick and Madeline Usher, the family found wealth and success only when death haunted the family, which led to the fact that dark secrets from the past were finally confronted. It’s an attractive horror story that Netflix users will be able to enjoy from October 12th, and it features a number of fascinating characters that bring this dark story to life.
The Burning Body
The plot of ‘the Burning Body’, the Netflix series, seems to be a fiction, but it is based on a real heartbreaking case that has attracted the attention of the press and the public in Spain. Three police officers from Barcelona were involved in a love triangle, which ended in tragedy when one of the people was murdered.
In April 2020, almost three years later, Peral and L9pez were found guilty of the murder of Rodriguez and sentenced to 25 and 20 years in prison, respectively. Both tried to blame each other and appealed the decision, but the original verdict was upheld. In the Netflix documentary ‘The Rosa Peral Tapes’, the former policewoman gives her first interview from prison.
My Sweet Girl
Like a good thriller, the trailer for ‘ My Sweet Girl ‘ is somewhat enigmatic because it makes us believe that there is something sinister and dark hidden under the guise of a traffic accident that could undoubtedly inspire our worst nightmares. So much so that the torment she presents to us can be much more harrowing than the series with Extraterrsula Corber and Quim Guti.
In ‘My Sweet Girl’ we discover more than 6 chapters in which little Hannah (Naila Schuberth) hides a complex way of life after a traffic accident. She and the woman who accompanied her, Lena (Kim Riedle), had a car accident that took her to the hospital with serious injuries to the elders. However, the police investigation soon begins to uncover a dark and sinister secret.
Sex Education
Since its debut in 2019, ‘Sex Education’ has gained a large fan base and has helped launch the careers of cast members Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey, among others. ‘Sex Education’ was created by Laurie Nunn and focuses mainly on Otis (Butterfield), who navigates through life first at Moordale Secondary and from season 4 at Cavendish Sixth Form College.
