Cynthia Rodriguez spoke with Carlos Rivera about the state of her baby’s health .
After the birth of little Le Elimn, his famous mother explained that they had some difficulties in feeding the newborn:
Leoncito has an allergy to cow’s milk protein. So, since I’m breastfeeding, I can’t eat anything that contains milk, it’s just for a while. “There is no milk in my diet,” he explained.
The former gym participant said that for this reason she is under a regime in which she does not consume dairy products, since at the moment the baby feeds only on breast milk.
Although many confuse lactose intolerance with milk allergy, the latter would show symptoms such as hives, itching or tingling around the lips or mouth, swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, coughing, vomiting or difficulty breathing, as described by the Mayo Clinic.
