Today, the National University of Cuyo, through the Faculty of Art and Design, awards the Honorary doctorate to Ticio Escobar in recognition of his outstanding career in the valorization of Latin American cultures and in the defense of human rights. .

The event will take place at 10 a.m. in Mendoza, Argentina, in the main room of the teaching building.
The award was presented by the Faculty of Letters and Design to the Supreme Council of Uncuyo, which granted recognition of the title Doctor honoris causa with special mention of academic-scientific and political-social merits.
After the event, Escobar will give a conference entitled Parallel aesthetics , which will have a second part, which will also take place in the main room in the afternoon at 18 o’clock and is aimed at graduates, teachers and students.
