The favorite god of all mischief is back in action with Loki Season 2. The 2nd season of the hit Disney Plus series is expected to be one of the big TV shows of the fall season, so here’s everything you need to know about the 2nd season of Loki.

Loki Season 2 Release Date

The new episodes of the 2nd season of Loki will air on Disney Plus every Thursday at 21 pm ET/18 pm PT.

The season premiere is titled “Ouroboros” and here is the description of the episode: “Loki finds himself lost in time and literally torn back and forth between the past, present and future.”

Loki Season 1 premiered in June 2021.

Plot of Loki Season 2

Not much is known about the plot of the 2nd season of Loki, but Hiddleston and Wilson hinted at what was to come when Loki was introduced at the D23 Expo in September 2022.

Season 2 picks up where season 1 left off Hiddleston told la salle. Loki is back in TVA and Mobius doesn’t know who he is.

It’s a bit like this song by Talking Heads, agreed Wilson. And in Season 2 we’ll answer: How did I get here?’

Series writer Eric Martin, who wrote all the episodes of the first season, returns to write the episodes of the 2nd season, while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (who directed at Moon Knight) are behind the camera for several episodes of the 2nd season of Loki.

Cast of Loki Season 2

We don’t know the full cast list yet, but we do know that Tom Hiddleston is reprising his role as Loki and Owen Wilson is returning as Mobius Mr. Mobius.

Sophia di Martino also reprises her role as Sylvie. Gugu Mbatha-Raw returns as Ravonna Renslayer, Eugene Cordero returns as Casey, and Wunmi Mosaku once again plays the B-15 fighter.

At the D23 expo, Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan was announced as the new cast member. Based on the panel’s observations, it looks like a member of the temporal variance authority is playing it. Rafael Casal is also new to sales.

It is very likely that Jonathan Majors will also return in season 2, but this time as Kang the Conqueror. His involvement in the series might be limited as Kang is also the villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. According to TV Insider, the images shown during the D23 Expo panel showed a glimpse of Kang’s influence on Loki’s new broken multiverse, which includes a golden statue with Kang’s effigy on display at TVA.
