Watch The Releases New Trailer for Rurouni Kenshin Anime

A new trailer has been released for the anime adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga Rurouni Kenshin. The series originally ran over 24 volumes between 1994 and 1999 and follows a wandering samurai dedicated to protecting the citizens of Japan.

The first cour of the show premiered on Fuji TV’s Noitamina in July 2023, and this second cour is scheduled to arrive on October 5 and pick up where the series last left off. In the trailer, Kenshin shows off some of his impressive sword fighting skills in a variety of fast-paced battles.

The video also shows a preview of the opening track “Rurou no Katashiro” by Masaki Suda X Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra as well as the ending theme “Sonzai sh @mei (Existence)” by KID PHENOMENON.

Soma Saito returned in the lead role alongside Ria Takahashi as Kaoru Kamiya. Other cast members include Taku Yashiro, Makoto Koichi, Y3ma Uchida, Saori4nishi and Satoshi Hino.
