Will There Be a Season 5 of Sex Education?
There are currently no plans for a sex education season 5. Laurie Nunn, the show’s creator, head writer and executive producer, made a statement to viewers before the premiere of the fourth and final season and thanked them for their support.

Sex Education Spin-Off
The advancing years of the cast and the fact that they are portrayed as teenagers in the series have been discussed for a long time, but series creator Nunn has stated that there is undoubtedly room for further exploration in this universe of sex education season 5.
She explained in an interview with Tudum: Writing about teenagers is usually a lot of fun, but I definitely take a vacation and think about other topics. Moordale is an incredibly rich universe.
I therefore believe that there is always room for further exploration in this area. We will just have to wait and see, as there has been no update on the possibility of a spin-off series for our favorite group of students.

Is there going to be Sex Education season 5?
The series has been running since January 2019 and has then discontinued two more seasons in 2020 and 2021. Obviously, season 4 took a little longer to stop production, as it will be broadcast two years after season 3 in 2023.
I hate being the bearer of bad news, but no, season 5 is not coming to an end. Netflix has clearly stated that this is the fourth and final season of the show.
Why was sex education cancelled?

At first, the story came to a natural conclusion when the characters left high school and moved on to the sixth grade, which usually lasts two years in the UK. As the creators said, the themes and storylines of the new season crystallized, and it became clear that this was the right time for the conclusion.

She felt connected with the characters and always believed that she could write about them forever. However, in the process of writing for the fourth season, it became clear that the story had come to an end naturally, and it was time to let go.
